Mighty Films has just finished a speccy new film for the Centre for Ethical Leadership, an organisation dedicated to improving ethical decision-making in the Australian business sector.
This promo for the CEL's Vincent Fairfax Fellowship™ was shot over a three day workshop at Ormond College, University of Melbourne in late 2014, with some additional interviews and overlay shot in other locations. In order to add a dynamic look to the workshop sequences, we decided to make use of a 'dolly' – a little set of rails that lets the camera move from side to side, creating smooth lateral movement within the frame – really lifting the look and feel of the whole piece.
A morning spent in town gathering atmospheric imagery for the opening montage, a bit of time spent creating some nice motion graphics, and finishing at a widescreen 2.85:1 aspect ratio to give a cinematic feel all paid off in lifting this film to another level.
